Pulled Pork Butt

Pork butt is one of the cheapest cuts of pork you can get, and like chuck roast or eye of round, it shines in a slow cooker. This recipe is packed with savory spice, but you can just as easily stick to a rub of salt and pepper if you prefer. The pork will fall apart of its own accord before it’s done cooking and will yield a lot of broth that will keep it juicy.

  1. This looks amazing! I’m drooling over so many recipes on your website, and saving them to Pinterest. So many of the recipes don’t have pictures accompanied so when I want to pin them, there is no photo to go with it and it won’t let me pin. 🙁 Sad. Or, I can pin them with just your personal photograph. You are beautiful, so I hate to use your picture when the description says “Pork Butt”. Just a thought. It would be great to be able to pin them with a photo for all the Pinterest world to see!! Thank you for all you do and contribute to our AIP community!!

    1. I’m working on adding photos to all of the recipes that don’t have any yet, but with over 600 recipes, it’s taking a while! I’ll see if I can get it to let you pin the site logo on those recipes and in the meantime, thanks for the feedback and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed everything!
